Brilliant Interview Questions.....

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Interesting. .....Don't miss last 2 Questions... Some, rather most organizations reject his CV today because he has changed jobs frequently (10 in 14 years). My friend, the ‘job hopper’ (referred here as Mr. JH), does not mind it…. well he does not need to mind it at all. Having worked full-time with 10 employer companies in just 14 years gives Mr. JH the relaxing edge that most of the ‘company loyal’ employees are struggling for today. Today, Mr. JH too is laid off like some other 14-15 year experienced guys – the difference being the latter have just worked in 2-3 organizations in the same number of years. Here are the excerpts of an interview with Mr. JH: Q: Why have you changed 10 jobs in 14 years? A: To get financially sound and stable before getting laid off the second time. Q: So you knew you would be laid off in the year 2009? A: Well I was laid off first in the year 2002 due to the first global economic slowdown. I had not got a full-time job before January 2003 when the economy started looking up; so I had struggled for almost a year without job and with compromises. Q: Which number of job was that? A: That was my third job. Q: So from Jan 2003 to Jan 2009, in 6 years, you have changed 8 jobs to make the count as 10 jobs in 14 years? A: I had no other option. In my first 8 years of professional life, I had worked only for 2 organizations thinking that jobs are deserved after lot of hard work and one should stay with an employer company to justify the saying ‘employer loyalty’. But I was an idiot. Q: Why do you say so? A: My salary in the first 8 years went up only marginally. I could not save enough and also, I had thought that I had a ‘permanent’ job, so I need not worry about ‘what will I do if I lose my job’. I could never imagine losing a job because of economic slowdown and not because of my performance. That was January 2002. Q: Can you brief on what happened between January 2003 and 2009. A: Well, I had learnt my lessons of being ‘company loyal’ and not ‘money earning and saving loyal’. But then you can save enough only when you earn enough. So I shifted my loyalty towards money making and saving – I changed 8 jobs in 6 years assuring all my interviewers about my stability.
Q: So you lied to your interviewers; you had already planned to change the job for which you were being interviewed on a particular day? A: Yes, you can change jobs only when the market is up and companies are hiring. You tell me – can I get a job now because of the slowdown? No. So one should change jobs for higher salaries only when the market is up because that is the only time when companies hire and can afford the expected salaries. Q: What have you gained by doing such things? A: That's the question I was waiting for. In Jan 2003, I had a fixed salary (without variables) of say Rs. X p.a. In January 2009, my salary was 8X. So assuming my salary was Rs.3 lakh p.a. in Jan 2003, my last drawn salary in Jan 2009 was Rs.24 lakh p.a. (without variable). I never bothered about variable as I had no intention to stay for 1 year and go through the appraisal process to wait for the company to give me a hike. Q: So you decided on your own hike? A: Yes, in 2003, I could see the slowdown coming again in future like it had happened in 2001-02. Though I was not sure by when the next slowdown would come, I was pretty sure I wanted a ‘debt-free’ life before being laid off again. So I planned my hike targets on a yearly basis without waiting for the year to complete. Q: So are you debt-free now? A: Yes, I earned so much by virtue of job changes for money and spent so little that today I have a loan free 2 BR flat (1200 sq.. feet) plus a loan free big car without bothering about any EMIs. I am laid off too but I do not complain at all.. If I have laid off companies for money, it is OK if a company lays me off because of lack of money. Q: Who is complaining? A: All those guys who are not getting a job to pay their EMIs off are complaining. They had made fun of me saying I am a job hopper and do not have any company loyalty. Now I ask them what they gained by their company loyalty; they too are laid off like me and pass comments to me – why will you bother about us, you are already debt-free. They were still in the bracket of 12-14 lakh p.a. when they were laid off. Q: What is your advice to professionals? A: Like Narayan Murthy had said – love your job and not your company because you never know when your company will stop loving you. In the same lines, love yourself and your family needs more than the company's needs. Companies can keep coming and going; family will always remain the same. Make money for yourself first and simultaneously make money for the company, not the other way around.
Q: What is your biggest pain point with companies? A: When a company does well, its CEO etc. will address the entire company saying, ‘well done guys, it is YOUR company, keep up the hard work, I am with you.” But when the slowdown happens and the company does not do so well, the same CEO Etc will say, “It is MY company and to save the company, I have to take tough decisions including asking people to go.” So think about your financial stability first; when you get laid off, your kids will complain to you and not your boss.

A BEAUTIFUL MESSAGE, REALY TOUCH TO OUR MIND, HEART, AND SOUL.THIS IS THE DESTINY.

Once upon a time, a girl had four boyfriends. She loved the 4th boyfriend the most, adores him with rich robes, and treated him to the finest ofdelicacies. She gave him nothing but the best. She also loved the third boyfriend very much and was always showing him off to neighboring kingdoms. However, she feared that one day he would leave her for another.
She also loved her 2nd boyfriend. He was her confidant and was always kind, considerate and patient with her. Whenever this girl faced a problem, she could confide in him, and he would help her get through the difficult times. The girls 1st boyfriend was a very loyal partner and had made great contributions in maintaining her wealth and kingdom. However, she did not love the first boyfriend. Although he loved her deeply, she hardly took notice of him...
One day, the girl fell ill and she knew her time was short. She thought of her luxurious life and wondered, I now have four boyfriends with me, but when I die, I’ll be all alone.' Thus, she asked the 4th boyfriend, I loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No way!’ replied the 4th boyfriend, and he walked away without another word. His answer cut like a sharp knife right into her heart.
The sad girl then asked the third boyfriend, 'I loved you all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'No!’ replied the 3rd boyfriend. 'Life is too good! When you die, I'm going to marry someone else!' Her heart sank and turned cold. She then asked the second boyfriend, 'I have always turned to you for help and you've always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?' 'I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!’ replied the 2nd boyfriend. At the very most, I can only walk with you to your grave.' His answer struck her like a bolt of lightning, and the girl was devastated. Then a voice called out: 'I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go. The girl looked up, and there was her first boyfriend. He was very skinny as he suffered from malnutrition and neglect. Greatly grieved, the girl said, 'I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!'
In truth, WE All have 4 boyfriends in your lives: Our 4th boyfriend is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it will leave us when we die.
Our 3rd boyfriend is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others.
Our 2nd boyfriend is our family and friends. No matter how much they have been there for us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave. In addition, our first boyfriend is our Soul. Often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the world. Throughout Eternity.
However, our Soul is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go. Cultivate, strengthen and cherish it now, for it is the only part of us that will follow us to the throne of God and continuewith.....
Thought for the day: Remember, when the world pushes you to your knees, you are in the perfect position to pray. Passthis on to someone you care about - I just did. Being happy does not mean everything's perfect. It means you have decided to see beyond the imperfections. I hope this touched you! Never break four things in your life. Trust, Promise, Relation & Heart Because, When they break they don’t make noise but Pains a lot… __

Twenty things in life.........

ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR.. When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.
FIVE. When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN.. Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
TEN... In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives.
TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.
THIRTEEN! .... When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
FOURTEEN. Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
FIFTEEN. Say 'bless you' when you hear someone sneeze.
SIXTEEN. When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.
EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
NINETEEN. When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.
TWENTY. Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice

Always Think of Plan B.

A pretty woman was serving a life sentence in prison. Angry and resentful about her situation, she had decided that she would rather die than to live another year in prison. Over the years she had become good friends with one of the prison caretakers. His job, among others, was to bury those prisoners who died in a graveyard just outside the prison walls. When a prisoner died, the caretaker rang a bell, which was heard by everyone. The caretaker then got the body and put it in a casket. Next, he entered his office to fill out the death certificate before returning to the casket to nail the lid shut. Finally, he put the casket on a wagon to take it to the graveyard and bury it. Knowing this routine, the woman devised an escape plan and shared it with the caretaker. The next time the bell rang, the woman would leave her cell and sneak into the dark room where the coffins were kept. She would slip into the coffin with the dead body while the caretaker was filling out the death certificate. When the care-taker returned, he would nail the lid shut and take the coffin outside the prison with the woman in the coffin along with the dead body. He would then bury the coffin. The woman knew there would be enough air for her to breathe until later in the evening when the caretaker would return to the graveyard under the cover of darkness, dig up the coffin, open it, and set her free. The caretaker was reluctant to go along with this plan, but since he and the woman had become good friends over the years, he agreed to do it. The woman waited several weeks before someone in the prison died. She was asleep in her cell when she heard the death bell ring. She got up and slowly walked down the hallway. She was nearly caught a couple of times. Her heart was beating fast. She opened the door to the darkened room where the coffins were kept. Quietly in the dark, she found the coffin that contained the dead body, carefully climbed into the coffin and pulled the lid shut to wait for the caretaker to come and nail the lid shut. Soon she heard footsteps and the pounding of the hammer and nails. Even though she was very uncomfortable in the coffin with the dead body, she knew that with each nail she was one step closer to freedom. The coffin was lifted onto the wagon and taken outside to the graveyard. She could feel the coffin being lowered into the ground. She didn't make a sound as the coffin hit the bottom of the grave with a thud. Finally she heard the dirt dropping onto the top of the wooden coffin, and she knew that it was only a matter of time until she would be free at last. After several minutes of absolute silence, she began to laugh. She was free! She was free! Feeling curious, she decided to light a match to find out the identity of the dead prisoner beside her. To her horror, she discovered that she was lying next to the dead caretaker. Many people believe they have life all figured out..... but sometimes it just doesn't turn out the way they planned it. Always think of a 'Plan B'!

Zindagi ek simat ki orr......

Khirki se jhankti maan se nazar bachakar,
Bechain ho rahi hai ghar ke chhat pe jakar,

Kiya chiz dhundti hai kiya kho gayi hai,
Sudh budh hai usko khudki sudh budh nahi hai meri,

Har din badal rahi hai kurti ka rang bhi,
Berang odhni bhi rangeen ho rahi hai,

Nani se ab kahani sunti nahi hai,
Gudiyon aur titliyon se dosti nahi hai,

Nazuk kali se "afreen" gulnar ho rahi hai.

What else if negetive voting is allowed..............?

India is talking about the reforms. Be it Economy, IT, Education and Cultural. Here we talk about the political reforms. Now the parliamentary elections on head. we are talking about the NOTA (none of the above). As section 49(O) of conduct of election Rules (1961) says that any voter who does not find any candidate worthy for his vote has has to say so in a prescribed form that bears his signature and name. Which is violative of code of secrecy attached to voting. A petition has lodged by PUCL an NGO against this in the supreme court of India. In reply government told the Supreme court that there is nothing wrong in the rule. But, why our politician fear by a reform in the political system? Reforms in the political system is the need of the day. Our political system are 61 years old and there are so many thing which actually need to be changed or reformed. But, now the question is that what else if the negative voting is made a rule? If the majority of the votes comes under the negative voting. Who will be declared winner? Should there be a re-election? What i think is that a re-election is not a good option. As elections are costly affair. There might be another parameter for declaring a winner. In another aspect I see the people are not careful about their voting rights. Voting right should be made duty to vote. Majority of votes would be polled chances increases of the next option to take a reform. If there is negative voting, it should be made compulsory to vote. What one more thing could be is that there should be a bio-data of the candidates displayed in their constituency about their Educational background, political history, their work and more important is their crime report. Which will classify the candidate well. Still a lot is to be said on this as petition is in the Supreme court. Lets see what happens......
But, what do you think about this??????????? Have your say please.........

youths are not USELESS, they are USED LESS.

One thing in my mind came yesterday when OMAR ABDULLAH was sworn in as JAMMU&KASHMIR new chief minister. In a country where about 40% population is of youths, they are still treated as USELESS, be it in politics, management and everywhere.

After the recent terror attacks in mumbai

the media take on politicians was right but, this has developed too many questions in my mind. The masses were chanting slogans against politicians and asking them to resign. But, who will replace them? A big question? Most of our leaders are in there 70s eg, LK ADVANI, ARJUN SINGH, AK ANTONY to name a few.

Time has come for youths to take politics as a career option instead of getting into MN Cs. because, if we don't vote, opt for politics. we are no one to blame politicians. The leaders like RAHUL GANDHI, JYOTIRADITYA SCINDIA, SACHIN PILOT, OMAR ABDULLAH, JITIN PRASAD, AKHILESH YADAV and SUPRIYA SULE are giving their best to develope the faith of the youths in democracy. India cannot develop without the involvement of the youths.

And it has started........... I hope the mumbai lesson will leave a great impact on the Indians.
